On a
Monday September 3, 2007 --
It is another holiday in the U.S. (and Canada).
It likely will rain, a fitting end to a "Summer of Rain" in Austin.
I've listened to the three songs I usually listen to on Mondays,
by the Boomtown Rats,
Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five,
and
(The Rev.) Al Green:
Mostly I've been doing things that I don't usually write about
here, but since it is a holiday, I'll recap a little.
I started
a "real" blog, of "bits that might or might not become tidbits",
e.g., What a long, strange trip it's been.
I may have been "overly cautious" about VMware, but Wall Street hasn't been.
The IPO on my birthday has stirred talk of "insanity" reminiscent of the dot com bubble, including the sorts of critiques common back then.
coda
Hopefully, I won't wait until the next U.S. holiday to write here, but the next writings are most likely to be in the
"bits that might or might not become tidbits" notes.
