All of these, except for O'Reilly Network Weblogs, come in e-mail versions. The easiest way to keep up is to register for the e-mail versions. Skim those when they arrive, and then visit the web sites when you have browsing time. If you don't want to register with the web sites, you can still get useful content from them but they will try to coerce you into registering.

The Register
One of the oldest technology sites. Unlike some of their contemporaries, the content remains fresh. If we could only keep up with one source, this would be it. Update 2-25: There is now a US version, which omits much of the UK specific content, at http://www.TheRegUS.com/.

O'Reilly Network Weblogs
This is the newest of our "top 5", so it is hard to justify ranking it this high. But every visit uncovers reason to spend more time here.
Lockergnome Windows Daily
What Chris Pirillo has accomplished with this newsletter, and Lockergnome in general, is astonishing. He didn't take long (months?) to go from zero to a six figure subscriber list. Even though the Windows Daily doesn't seem as fresh as it did a couple of years ago, it continues to be a "must read".

The New York Times
You can't depend on just the computer industry for computer information. And, of course, there's much more to The Times than computer stuff.

(CNET) News.com
Another long-standing, high-quality source. CNET suffers from trying to be "all things to all people", but not as much as it used to. Still, it is hard to know whether to start at News.com or CNET.com. We prefer News.com.
