When I lived in Ossining (a.k.a. Sing Sing), New York, it was idyllic some of
the time,
living on an eight acre dilapidated sheep farm with a view of the
Hudson River.
Weather permitting, I rode my bicycle to work at IBM Research, about 5 miles
away.
There were two direct routes, a main route and a "back" route, impassable in the winter.
I took the back route the rest of the year.
It went by
Teatown Lake, where I usually saw these swans.
